Welcome to the Home of Somerville Junior Football Club
.
Our Club the Somerville Junior Football Club provides a family friendly safe and fun environment for all Players as Junior Aussie Rules Footballers.
The Somerville Junior Football Club plays in both the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League and the AFL South East Leagues. We have both Mixed and Girls teams from Under 9's and all age groups up to and including the Under 17's and now U20 Girls competition.
Our Under 9’s to Under 14’s are in the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League, while the Under 15’s and up are playing alongside the FDJFL & AFL South East, mixed up in with the Divisions. We have had our girls' teams growing over the past few years in the competitions and hope to establish both Under 10’s and Under 12 Girls' teams for the 2024 Season.
Games are played on a Sunday at grounds from Mordialloc in the South of Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula. The 2024 season will commence in April 2023 - August 2023. (There are breaks throughout the season for school and public holidays.)
At the Somerville Junior Football Club we encourage sponsors to get on board for season 2024.
Our club provided the opportunity for more than 320 children in the 2023 season, and while we look forward to continuing this in 2024, we need your help in providing them with the best resources and facilities to enjoy the game they love.
Our sponsorship co-ordinator, Diane will be happy to discuss how you can support the club and players. Email [email protected] for which she will be in contact with you.
Various options are available to suit businesses or families who would like to support our club, teams, or individual players.
If you encounter any major issues with the website please let us know at [email protected].
