About Our Club

Established in 1973

​Somerville Junior Football Club was established in 1973, and won its first premiership in 1973. Since establishing the club has looked forward and grown strength on and off the field to build a great culture of young football players.

Today Somerville Junior Football Club is recognised as one of the largest junior football clubs in the MPJFL. Fielding over 16 Mixed teams and the hope to increase our number of girls playing teams to 4 in the 2024 Season.

Our Mission

We at the Somerville Football Club are about supporting and developing our players in our Junior programs through to the end of their Junior playing career.

Our Future

Holding onto our strong junior numbers, our club is in a great position with our playing numbers not only in our younger teams but also in our senior level of the junior club, the club has great strength for a strong future.

Somerville Junior Football Club has a great number of high-quality young players in all age groups which are and will be selected in our league's development and foundation programs.
