Summary of Club Rules
- All players are required to wear mouth guards whilst participating in matches.
- Team Officials have the final decision on any player’s suitability to take the field.
- Any fines incurred to SJFC by MPJFL or AFLSE due to a parent’s/family member's misconduct will be payable by the individual.
- All players and spectators must adhere to the SJFC codes of conduct.
- Any player receiving a concussion either at training or during a game must have a minimum 2-game rest before resuming playing. The only exception to this rule is if a Doctor’s Certificate clearing a player is provided.
- Players returning following surgery must adhere to the rules/guidelines written in the SJFC Policy on the website
Uniform Agreement
Parents/Guardians agree to comply with the policy set out by the Somerville Junior Football Club on uniforms and agree to replace/repair any uniform damaged/lost that has been issued to them.
The playing uniform consists of the following:
- Club jumper (supplied by club) - Royal Blue & Yellow socks (purchased from the club)
- Royal Blue & Yellow with league logos - Football boots (non-metal studs)
- Mouth guard (compulsory) - Optional skins under shorts (must be skin colour or royal blue only)
- No jewellery/watches - Sports glasses if required
S.J.F.C will supply the playing jumper to players on the conditions set out below:-

Cost of Repair: As per charges

S.J.F.C will supply the playing jumper to players on the conditions set out below:-
- That all uniforms are cared for by the individual players as per the manufacturer's directions. Uniforms are not to be tumble-dried.
- That any loss or damage to the uniform is the responsibility of the player/parent to cover the cost for replacement or repair of the uniform. (Fair wear and tear excluded).
- Uniforms are to be returned on the completion of the Premiership season or departure from the All Club. In the event of a player departing for another club, NO Clearance will be arranged until the return or payment of the uniform is received. This rule also applies to outstanding fees/monies owed to the Club.
- Uniforms are not to be worn on any occasion other than for playing matches as a participant in a Somerville Junior Football Club game. Uniforms are not to be worn for training.
